Chattering of my mind

Virtual reality isn’t a new concept; it’s been a part of our lives for generations. We’ve been living virtually for so long that it’s now being labeled as “virtual reality.” Of course, now it comes with a few additional electronic toys, but the concept itself remains the same. We do it all in our minds, without any external electronic devices. Have you ever found yourself thinking, imagining, or planning something, only to realize that you weren’t actually doing it? That’s because when we think, plan, or imagine, we create an entire world inside our minds and live that moment virtually. For example, if we’re mad at someone, we might mentally fight with them before we actually do it. If we’re planning to propose to a girl, we might already have proposed to her in our minds. And if we’re excited about buying a new car in the future, we might already have driven it, changed the gears, and gone above 100 kmph in our minds.   Sooner  or later, you will quit your job.  If you are a person like me, who gets bored by doing similar things, changes the interest frequently, doesn’t have the correct skill set your job requires, or does not get paid enough for what you are doing, you will quit. Here’s a simple job quitting formula I found  1. old job + old skill = old money  explanation: If you are doing the same work daily and you have the same skill for this job, you will end up making the same money for years, or maybe a minor salary hike. And you will quit to get more money in a new job.  2. new  job + old  skill = new money + frustration  explanation: - if you somehow changed your job and got a new salary, but this job needs a new skill set which you don't have or are unable to learn quickly. You end up getting frustrated and will quit the job, or get fired.  3. old  job + new  skill = old money +  boredom explanation: - Now you have upgrad...

Now, I’m fully convinced that “Nothing is permanent,” not even the people or interests of people. I don’t know about others, so I shouldn’t generalize, but this is what I’ve realized about myself. Everything I thought I was interested in or loved to do is no longer true. Passion: When I was in school, I was fascinated by electronic gadgets. I loved opening them up to see how they worked and tried to fix the non-working ones, or at least figure out what was wrong. Desire: When I reached college, I became more interested in making money. I hated asking my parents for money because I thought they didn’t have enough. So, I combined my love of electronic gadgets with my desire to make money and learned mobile phone repairing. I started working in that field and, yes, I made good money for a while, about four or five years.
