When there was nothing—no technology, science, government, society, and its laws like marriage—traders still existed. Both men and women were traders.
From nature, men acquired muscle power and the ability to utilize it, while women developed beauty and the capacity to use it. Consequently, they began trading these attributes with one another. Men employed their muscle power for hunting and gathering, and they shared the food with women in exchange for sex, as that was the sole requirement for men at that time—to eat, sleep, and reproduce. This natural integration is encoded in their DNA.
This behavior persists in animals, suggesting that all humans were once animals. The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle famously stated, “Man is by nature a social animal.”
Both men and women were free to change partners whenever they found a better trade deal. However, men soon realized that trading for sex was an expensive and time-consuming endeavor. There was always a better provider for women, and finding a new partner was not an easy task. This also left them feeling bad and sad when their partners got a better deal and canceled the existing one. Especially when men couldn’t provide food and still expected sex from women. I believe this was the first time men discovered something called “male ego.” this discovery was purely due to women.
Men soon invented marriage/contracts to prevent partners from canceling deals, regardless of whether the man was a good or bad provider. he also started defaming the concept of changing partner for women and made it a taboo. i believe this was the first attempt by a man to undermine women’s empowerment.
Fast forward to today— most men have completely shifted from selling muscle power to selling brain power. They use technology, computers, machines, and robots to whom they have offloaded their muscle power, and now they mostly think.
Women have not entirely shifted from selling beauty to brains. Many women are far more intelligent and powerful than many men, but the majority still opt to sell beauty. Even if they do all the things men do now, they still use beauty as an advantage, which I believe is perfectly acceptable.
